Marine Fabric Protection
Conservit Marine Fabric Protection is a specialist product for the protection of all marine fabrics. Suitable for use on canvas, upholstery, faux and genuine leather & suede both above and below deck.
The product is is easily and quickly applied, makes cleaning easier, offers lasting protection and will not change the texture, look or alter the non-flammable qualities of your material.
Step One – ensure the fabric to be treated is clean and dry (algae, moss & lichen can be removed using Conservit Marine Algae Remover. For other stains and dirt use a fabric cleaning product recommended for the type of material )
Step Two – spray the product onto the fabric without saturating
Step Three – leave to dry for 24 hours
How It Works – Conservit Marine Fabric Protection penetrates material right through to the weft meaning it can protect and proof fabrics against water and oil penetration and all kinds of stains.
Results – Biminis, canopies, cockpit cushions and internal fabrics and upholstery remain clean and resistant to water, oil and dirt keeping your yacht looking its best.
Special Notes
Also provides resistance to dust mites – ideal for cabin mattresses, pillows etc.
Does not discolour the treated surface, however we do recommend trying the product on a small inconspicuous area first.
Optimum proofing obtained after 1-2 days
A 300ml can covers approximately 5-6m2 – coverage may vary depending on material absorbancy.
