Caravan Wood Protection
Conservit Caravan Wood Protection is specialist product offering exceptional resistance to water, oil and weathering. Non flaking, it allows wood to breathe. Ideal for providing long lasting protection to decking, rails and furniture surrounding your caravan, Conservit Caravan Wood Protection reduces the time spent on maintaining your wood surfaces, leaving you more time to enjoy your caravan.
Step One – Prepare the wood to be protected (we recommend Conservit Caravan Wood Restorer) and allow to dry
Step Two – Apply two coats of Caravan Wood Protection using a brush or roller, allowing 1 hour between coats.
Step Three – Protect from rain etc for 24 hours while product takes effect
How It Works – the product becomes part of the fabric of the wood and does not form a film on the wood. It does not flake, blister or yellow. Completely transparent even after application, it penetrates into the wood fibres, rendering them completely water- and oil-repellent and resistant to stains (even greasy stains).
Result – Natural looking wood that is completely water-repellent and resistant to staining and oxidisation. No need to apply varnish, teak oil or other protection products.
Special Notes
As Conservit Caravan Wood Protection makes the wood completely water-repellent, it is not suitable as a base coat for varnishes and other wood treatments as these will be repelled by the wood once treated.
Our standard product gives a clear finish, however we can provide Conservit Caravan Wood Protection in a variety of timber stains by special order.
